In 2009 prices and Willamette Valley acres grew dramatically.

In response, Wilco-Winfield increased their presence in this segment of the market by adding rail loading and contracting of wheat supporting much larger volumes. MCGG historically has been a major originator and trader of grain. This alliance will bring more risk management tools to the Wilco-Winfield growers not offered today by Wilco-Winfield” said Bill Hubbell, General Manager of Wilco-Winfield.

“Morrow County Grain Growers has handled and merchandised grain for grain producers in the lower Columbia Basin since 1930. Morrow County Grain Growers is excited about the opportunity to work with growers in the Willamette Valley and bring additional risk management tools to those growers”

– John Ripple, General Manager of Morrow County Grain Growers.
