Wilco Celebrates the Grand Re-Opening of their Newest Farm Store in Prineville, OR

Wilco Celebrates the Grand Re-Opening of their Newest Farm Store in Prineville, OR.

Wilco, the largest supply cooperative in the Pacific Northwest was named among the top workplaces in Oregon and Southwest Washington for 2013. A week later, they celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of their Prineville Farm Store.

In March, 2013 Wilco purchased two farm stores from Helena (Round Butte Seed) in Prineville and Bend. After many months of work with computer systems, inventory, merchandising and time with the existing staff, Wilco is proud to have a Grand Re-Opening to show customers the new offerings in Prineville.

“We hope the community appreciates the hard work by Kati (store manager) and the Prineville staff. We’re excited about the store enhancements so we can best serve Prineville customers,” says Sam Bugarsky, Chief Operating Officer for Wilco’s Farm Stores.

For past Round Butte Seed customers, what changes should you expect?

The most evident change is more selection. The new store offers one of the most complete fence and livestock equipment lineups in eastern Oregon. There is more premium pet food, a complete lineup of pet supplies, more wild bird food and birding supplies, farm hardware, rope and chain and horse tack. All the new offerings complement existing core products in animal health and lawn and garden.

Wilco also has a Price Match Promise. If you find the same item cheaper somewhere else, they promise to match it.

Customers will also notice more flyers and special offers every month and a faster computer system to get you in-and-out quick.

While you’ll notice lots of changes, like new Liberty Security Safes and Georgia Romeo shoes, you’ll still see familiar faces. Kati and her original team are there to greet and help customers or answer questions.

The Wilco store is located at 1225 NW Gardner Rd., Prineville, OR 97754 and the Grand Re-Opening celebration runs through Saturday, September 21st.
