Wilco Pumpkins Help Local Hospital

The Samaritan Employee Caring Campaign is the employees’ opportunity to contribute toward services and programs within Samaritan Health Services. The campaign at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital helps them continue to be much more than your average rural hospital and features a pumpkin decorating contest open to all departments, physician clinics and outlying facilities.  All the employees look forward to this annual contest!

Thanks to help from the Lebanon Wilco store team’s pumpkin contribution, this year, Nutrition Services took first place with their pumpkin rendition of the Muppets’ Swedish Chef. Other top finishers were Human Resources with their Open Enrollment pumpkin, and the hospital laboratory with their Lab Tech Gone Wild pumpkin.

The LCH Foundation’s goal for the campaign this year was to raise $90,000, and $10,000 to United Way. To date, the employee campaign has raised slightly more than $100,000 for the hospital foundation and slightly over $10,000 for United Way.

On behalf of the Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees and staff, we extends our heartfelt thanks to Wilco for supplying the pumpkins and delivering them at no charge!
