Need some style inspiration for your summer looks? Style a bandana or a wild rag to add personality to your warm-weather outfits. Here are a few ideas to help get you started.

How to Tie a Wild Rag

1. Fold a large scarf into a long strip. Depending on personal preference, you can do this by either folding it or twirling it.
2. Place the scarf at the front of your neck. You can leave a little bit of the middle triangle hanging down like we did, or you can keep this tucked into the strip.
3. Wrap the scarf around to the back of your neck, crisscross and bring the ends forward to each side of your neck.
4. Grab the right side and tuck under the left and through the little hole that is created at the front of your neck.
5. Tuck the left side under right and through the hole.
6. Pull both sides to tighten and straighten.

Boots

Tie a wild rag through the holes of a favorite pair of old boots. Make a big loopy bow to add a bit of whimsy.

Bag

Get to use your favorite wild rag on a daily basis by tying it on your favorite handbag or tote.

Wrist

Try tying a small wild rag on your wrist for the perfect summer outfit accessory. Vary the style by using different ties including a simple square knot, buckaroo knot, or a bow

Belt

Fold or twirl scarf into long strip. Thread through belt loops of pants and tie. This can also be worn with a dress or other clothing item without belt loops by simply wrapping around the waist and creating the tie.
