Rubber boots are what we wear when it’s muddy and wet, but sometimes they can mean sacrificing comfort and performance for utility. We’re careful to carry rainboots and gear that are farm-proven tough so you can be sure you’ll get the best performance, comfort with added utility from your wear. A new line we’re excited to bring to you is from Dryshod Footwear. This new line of footwear has immediately become a popular option for customers looking for 100% waterproof rainboots, and a fan favorite for those who work outdoors.
Features of Dryshod Boots
Dryshod rubber boots won’t get heavy or rot when they get wet. That’s because the upper material is coated with HydroKote® which repels water and helps to eliminate rotting seams. Each boot is made with a material called Densoprene® in the upper which will keep you warm without the added bulk. Densoprene® foam is a super dense neoprene material that keeps the cold/wet out and the warm/dry in. This waterproof and self-insulating foam is naturally lightweight, buoyant and very comfortable – your foot and lower leg stay warm and protected in cold and wet conditions. In fact, they are constructed with the same material as deep-water dry suits. Each boot has added cushioning with padded lining, a padded removable insole and AirMesh™ lining that encourages less sweaty feet. The rubber construction is made without PVC or urethane which means they won’t crack.
A feature that we appreciate about these new boots is that they have roll-down calve pipes that make it easy to tuck over your pants or remove after use. Stop on into your local Wilco and try on a pair for yourself!
