FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS
Feed LMF Gentle Balance to mature pleasure horses at a rate of 3-8 pounds per day (for a 1000-pound horse). Vary intake of Gentle Balance based on activity, body weight, and body condition of the horse. Feed along with good quality hay, free-choice plain or iodized salt, and fresh water.

For aggressive eaters, slowing the intake rate of pelleted feed is desirable. One way of accomplishing this is to dissolve the feed in warm water for 10 minutes prior to feeding. Rapid intake of any feed, without proper chewing, may cause the horse to choke.

WARNING: Feed LMF Horse Feeds to horses according to the feeding instructions provided on the feed tag, or upon the advice of your nutritionist. Do not add other sources of selenium that cause total dietary selenium (forage and grain, combined) to exceed 0.3 ppm. Feeding additional vitamin or mineral supplements is not recommended when feeding LMF Feed products according to feeding instructions.
