This Betadine Solution Antiseptic Microbicide provides the benefits of iodine without causing pain or irritation to skin, wounds or membranes. This topical, water-based solution is used to kill bacteria, fungi, and viruses. It will not stain skin, hair or natural fabrics. Can be used at full strength as an antiseptic before surgery and on superficial lacerations, abrasions and minor burns. Contains 5% povidone-iodine equal to 0.5% available iodine.
