Spring Application: Apply at a rate of 200-300lb of product per acre

Ammonium sulfate fertilizer for trees, shrubs, evergreens, flowers and vegetables. This fertilizer is also great for starting seeds and establishing new lawns. Management goals will determine Nitrogen Rate. Normal Nitrogen rate is 40 to 60 pounds of Nitrogen per acre in the spring. High rate can be made in split applications of 30 lbs of N each application. First application should be in February and the second in late April or early May.

Rates for Fall Application

It is best to apply Phosphorus and Potassium in the Fall. This allows winter rains to move the fertilizer into the root zone. If you are planning to pasture stock in the fall apply 40 lbs of Nitrogen per acre.
