Wilco Boots & Blues Benefit Event Benefits Pet Organizations in Three States

Bag sale proceeds from October 25-27 to benefit customer chosen local non-profits

Mt. Angel, OR, Oct. 24, 2022 – Wilco’s third annual Boots and Blues Bag Benefit Sale, which raises funds for local non-profits, is taking place October 25-27, 2022 in all 25 Wilco Farm Store locations in Oregon, Washington and California. Wilco asked customers to name and vote on programs they wanted proceeds from the sale of bags to go towards. Over the summer, hundreds of local non-profits were suggested, and customers were able to vote.  Based on the social media fan nominations, the three non-profit organizations that were selected as this year’s recipients of the Wilco Boots & Blues Bag Benefit sale are: I Paw’d It Forward (WA), Waggin’ Tails Search & Rescue (OR), and Dogwood Animal Rescue (CA).

“Community is a core value we live by, so a giving event driven by customer elected non-profits is a special one,” said Jake Wilson, Wilco’s Director of Marketing and E-Commerce. “It’s the trifecta of giving because customers can enter to win prizes, Wilco gives discounts on clothing and footwear if they want to shop, all while giving to a customer-nominated, local animal organization with any bag purchases, which are reusable, high quality and a fun design,” Wilson added.

To support the benefit sale, purchase a bag while supplies last. When you purchase a $5.00 “limited edition” canvas tote in your local Wilco, October 25-27, proceeds from the bag sales will go to the non-profit organizations in each state. As an additional incentive to support your local community, all regular priced clothing, footwear and accessories that fits in the bag will automatically receive 20 percent off when you checkout. During the event, customers can also enter into a grand prize drawing for a trip for two to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN, courtesy of Durango. Other prizes include a $500 Ariat shopping spree, $250 Carhartt shopping spree, 12 pairs of boots and much more. To learn more and enter to win, visit www.winatwilco.com.
