Mt. Angel, OR, March 15, 2022 – Bleyhl Co-op, has agreed to sell their newest retail store, built in 2019 at 6705 Chapel Hill Blvd, in Pasco, WA, to Wilco, a farmer-owned cooperative based in Mt. When asked about the sale, Bleyhl Co-op CEO and General Manager Joel Marcott said, “Wilco has been a valued partner and neighbor in the cooperative system and embraces the values and spirit of a farmer focused cooperative. We are confident our employees at the Pasco location will be embraced and empowered to continue serving their communities through the Wilco Farm Stores and customers will be well served by Wilco’s commitment to agriculture and rural lifestyle.”

The Bleyhl Co-op retail store employees will be offered jobs as the transition to Wilco Farm Store takes place. “This is a well-designed store, with a trained and established team, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue what Bleyhl has started. Wilco has a history of serving rural communities and is closely aligned with the vision and values of Bleyhl’s farmer-owned cooperative. Like Bleyhl, we believe in quality service and offering farm-proven products, along with tremendous support to agricultural youth through 4-H and FFA programs,” said Sam Bugarsky, President & CEO of Wilco.

Bleyhl Co-op will continue to own and operate their three Yakima Valley farm stores in Grandview, Sunnyside, and Zillah and continue their direct to farm focus through their other businesses in the region. “We look forward to incorporating what Bleyhl Co-op has done well into our offerings and services at the Pasco store. The Pasco store will complement our store in Yakima, opened just this last fall. We recognize we’re new to the area and we look forward to showing the Tri-cities community our values and commitment to rural lifestyles,” said TJ Colson, President of Wilco Stores.

The Pasco Wilco will be the eighth location in Washington, and is Wilco’s 25th location throughout Washington, Oregon and California. It will include all five signature departments they are famous for:

  • Pet Supplies & Dog Grooming
  • Lawn & Garden
  • True Value Hardware & Benjamin Moore Paint
